Time to make a Will or update your old one?

A will is one of the most important financial documents you will ever own. But despite this very few people take the time to arrange one. If they have made a Will already it's often locked away and forgotten about, leaving it to become outdated as their circumstances change.

Not having an up-to-date Will means that a lifetime's worth of hard-earned savings and investing can potentially disappear in unnecessarily large proportions to the taxman or even to people you didn't ultimately want to inherit.

Having a Will not only means paeace of mind knowing that you've accounted for every eventuality - it's the only way that you can ensure that your possessions go to exactly who you want them to, and in correct proportions, it's also vitally important if you have a family as its the only way you can legally appoint guardians for your children.
